Customer Care Specialist (Malibu Wine Safari)

Malibu Wine Safari is seeking energetic and customer focused members for its Customer Care Team at the beautiful Saddlerock Ranch in the Malibu Hills.  This team will be dedicated to ensuring our Safari Guests have a seamless experience from the first moment they interact with our brand, all the way to follow up after their visit.  The ideal candidate has a helpful personality, a passion for animal welfare, and is a quick thinker. 

Malibu Wine Safari is an exciting, outdoor, wine and exotic animal adventure destination located in the Malibu Hills.  Our guests get to explore the beautiful Saddlerock Ranch in custom, open-air vehicles, while tasting high quality wines and interacting with friendly furry creatures.

Members of the Customer Care Team assist guests before their tour, whether they are booking a safari or seeking information about our property. Team members are also there to greet our guests on arrival and throughout their visit, providing a seamless transition from pre-visit to day-of.

A typical day will involve speaking with guests on the phone, replying to inquiries via email, responding to posts on social media, checking guests in at our front desk, assisting with large corporate events, and live chatting with guests during the booking process.  That is a typical day.  Here at the ranch, however, there are no typical days.  Whether we are welcoming a new baby animal into our family, celebrating a milestone in someone's life, or finding solutions to unexpected situations, every single day brings exciting challenges. 

Responsibilities

  • Book reservations over the phone
  • Communicate with guests via email (Zendesk), while maintaining brand standards
  • Respond to social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) to encourage further engagement with our brand
  • Front of House duties: check-in, age verification (21+), day-of bookings
  • Hospitality coordination for large events/corporate parties

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills (PC)
  • Ability to problem solve
